Signs

As said in our introduction, signs are a big part of our business at DrewsWoodCraft and Sign Shop.

We can do just about any kind of sign you’d wish- from a house sign, to one hanging above your mantel, all the way to commercial grade HDU/Painted or Acrylic backlit. We can make way signs, and often do, or signage for workplace safety or instruction. I guess the bottom line is – We’re Sign Makers.

In an image below, here, you’ll see a sign carved for a residential home. It was cut from a material that is virtually indestructible and it comes highly recommended for it’s ease for use and cost. It is great for the environment it’s in, which is coastal and which receives brutal sunlight and salt air condition. It simply won’t deteriorate. It comes in a bunch of different color combinations and in thickness from 1/4″ to 3/4″, and dimensions from 24″x12″ to 48″x96″.

Residential or private signs, used for weddings or events are something that we do a whole lot of- and we can turn a very nice product around very quickly. The sky is the limit for these types when it comes to materials used and combinations of materials- any lighting, or any other requests.

Commercial signs are a big thing- and the shear amount of materials to choose from here are crazy. If this is what you’re looking for, drop us a line and we’ll reach out to you to discuss what would best suit your needs and budget. Two commercial signs seen below are of signs we’ve done- one cut from expanded PVC and painted with three colors, and the other carved from HDU and hand painted- both are for outdoor use and both- as all commercial signs- are warrantied for a ten year period.

We’ve been quite ‘inventive’ with our signs, and have offered products to people as whimsical gifts or for offices/office doors. I guess this guy has a nickname his family wanted to make official? It was carved from red oak and sealed in resin-epoxy for the harsh northern environment for which it was intended.

We also, as a note, engrave glass doors- we can carve whatever you’d wish on your doors to offer an elegant and timeless touch to your business.
